 Description:
We will be joining about 40 senior citizens on Thursday evening to play euchre at the Senior Rec Center in Lafayette. Having played with them last year, you better be on your game because they are quick! So whether you are a beginner to an expert at euchre, come out and play because they really enjoy college students! Plus it's a great way to meet other students.

 Description:
We will serving our veterans at the Indiana Veterans Home by assisting the staff with a bingo game and interacting with the people themselves. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate appreciation for our veterans.There are no special skills or heaving lifting - just hanging out!

 Description:
Trinity Mission is a residential drug rehabilitation program that offers a second chance in life through the hope of Jesus Christ, classes in Christian principles and life skills, and work experience. The outlet store provides the residents of Trinity Mission with the work experience they need to get a steady job, as well as providing the community with secondhand goods at very affordable prices. We will be serving the residents of Trinity Mission and the community by sorting and tagging the donated clothing and organizing different sections of the store.

 Description:
We will be preparing and serving a meal for up to 50 people at the Lafayette Urban Ministry Emergency Homeless Shelter. Volunteers will have the opportunity to visit with guests during the meal. The Lafayette Urban Ministry (LUM) is a non-profit ecumenical organization which provides assistance and relief to Lafayette's needy children and families. LUM is a partnership of 47 congregations from 21 faith traditions working together to bring compassion and justice to Lafayette's needy children and families. LUM serves the community through 23 assistance programs and is a model for urban ministry in other regions.

 Description:
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world. The Lafayette affiliate is one of many affiliates around te world working to achieve this goal. It is hard to know exactly what need we will be filling in the spring, but Lafayette Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers to help do various contruction, landscaping or other tasks. No experience or tools required.

 Description:
We will be helping the residents at University Place do spring cleaning and help them with other light tasks. We may also be helping them clean the inside of their cars as they can't balance well or bend over. If we have extra time, we'll spend it visiting with them and taking them on walks (if we have good weather).

 Description:
Lifecare services is a nonprofit organization on campus that helps women with unplanned pregnancies. We will be helping them by doing some indoor and outdoor cleaning.

 Description:
We will be helping out the people of Cumberland Point (formerly George Davis Manor Nursing Home) and enjoying a musical entertainment. We will help set up the room with tables/chairs, get the residents down to the entertainment room and sit with them throughout the program. The people at George Davis Manor love to see us and we have a great opportunity to show Christ’s love to them. Come help us serve with other fellow believers while enjoying some musical entertainment!

 Description:
Come serve our Jewish friends at the Hillel Foundation! We will be doing some routine spring-time outdoor yard work. Stuff like mulching, weeding, trimming shrubs, etc. The Hillel Foundation is locatated across the street from Campus House at 912 West State St.

 Description:
We will be helping the community center get ready for their summer camps by organizing and cleaning the center. The Hanna Community Center, located at 1201 N. 18th Street in Lafayette, IN is a non-profit, multi-service agency that provides programs and services for the Hanna neighborhood and all residents of Tippecanoe County.

 Description:
We will be enjoying and playing a game of Wheel-of-Fortune with the residences of Cumberland Point (formerly known as George Davis Manor Nursing Home). We will help set up the room, help the residents to the game from their rooms, and help them play, or play with them, Wheel-of-Fortune. We'll have the chance to show them our love for Christ and Christ's love for them. Come help us have an amazing experience with the residents and serve together in a game of Wheel-of-Fortune!

 Description:
Lafayette Transitional Housing is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and fostering self-sufficiency for members of the Lafayette community that are homeless. This group also needs volunteer help to maintain their outreach for families and individuals that are working to achieve consistency in employment and housing. While working for the LTHC, our project will consist of yard work and landscaping around the transitional houses, as well as some external paint on their units.

 Description:
This year at The Salvation Army we will be able to help out with outdoor yard work, such as raking and pulling weeds, and other Spring cleaning needs weather permitting. Other opportunities could include sorting clothes if there is poor weather. They are a great organization to work with and would really appreciate our help.

The Cary Home for Children is a place where several programs are offered to troubled youth to prepare them for re-entry into the community. We will be helping the staff of Cary Home for Children perform some spring cleaning and painting. Dress to get messy. No tools or supplies needed.

Description: Terry Traeger, who attends church at Covenant Church recently had an aneurysm, putting him in pretty weak condtion. He is between heart surgeries and could use some outside work to be done at his home. He lives in Lafayette at 3711 George Washington Rd.
