Our PurposeTo visibly demonstrate the love of Christ through Purdue Christian organizations by enjoying Christian fellowship, serving the community, and worshipping God, together. We will strive to meet this purpose during a week-long event, from April 17, 2010 to April 24, 2010, which we are calling FaithWorks. FaithWorks consists of 3 components: a Fellowship Day, many Service Projects, and a Worship Night. |

We will kick off the the week with a Fellowship Day for everyone involved in FaithWorks. This is a chance for Christians from many different campus organizations to get to know each other in a fun and casual setting. We will have food, ultimate frisbee, and other games. And, of course, everyone is welcome to just hang out and get to know each other at Pickett Park. In case of rain, we'll announce an alternate location. |
Service ProjectsApril 17, 2010 to April 24, 2010 All over the community |

Before the week of FaithWorks begins, we will be allowing Christian organizations and other individuals to sign up for Service Projects. We are working with Purdue and the Greater Lafayette community to arrange as many service opportunities as possible. These projects will then be matched up with those who are willing and able to carry them out. For a listing of specific projects, check out the Service Projects page. We will conclude the week of FaithWorks with a Worship Night. This is a chance for us to give the glory back to God for the entire event, to enjoy unity as the body of believers at Purdue, and to celebrate the specific ways that we were able to give back to the community during the week. Our worship songs will be led by a band compiled from a variety of campus Christian organizations, as a clear example of the unity that we are striving to build at Purdue. |
